An Asbestos Management Survey identifies where in a property asbestos and asbestos containing material (ACM) is located and what specific actions may need to be taken in order to mitigate the risk presented by ACM. During the Survey a technician will gather samples, if required, where they believe asbestos is found and send these to our IANZ accredited laboratory.
The Survey is carried out in accordance with the New Zealand Good Practice Guidelines ‘Conducting Asbestos Surveys’, October 2016, HSG264 “ The Survey Guide’. The sample analysis is completed our IANZ accredited laboratory in accordance with HSG 248 and AS 4964-2004.
The asbestos sampling method is intrusive but steps are taken to mitigate any issues.
